  • Winter groups are getting into the groove!

Coming off their first NCPA show, Wilcox Winter percussion has finished 3rd place in Percussion Scholastic A class. The percussion section had a greatly improved performance from their previous shows and one of the best shows yet. With gaining 3rd place, NCPA has awarded Wilcox with some merchandise including drum keys, cymbal arms, tenor sticks, and stickers. Keep up the good work!

Wilcox Winterguard also competed this past weekend in the far off lands of Granite Bay High School. Conducting themselves with great class, the guard represented Wilcox on the floor with a 2nd place trophy showing everybody that Wilcox Winterguard isn’t just for show and that we are an up and coming program that will soon be a force to be reckoned with. The guard also showed the world how Wilcox stands apart from the groups off the floor as well with a dignified appreciation for Granite Bay’s property. Wilcox is nice to other schools!

All in all, a great weekend competition for both groups. Keep up the good work and keep practicing to make the next show, the next rehearsal, the next note that much better. Everyday we will improve!
