The Wilcox High School Instrumental Music Department would like to thank Josh Peterson for his unending support he gave to his students.  Josh taught here at Wilcox from 2003-2008.  In those five years Josh was instrumental in the success of the Wilcox Winter Percussion and the Fall Black and Gold Regime Marching Band.

Josh
During Josh's stay here, he helped mold the lives of over 50 percussion students.  The students connected with him and would travel to the end of the world for him in a heart beat.  Josh made these students believe in themselves and what they could accomplish.

In just a few shorts years Josh instructed the Winter Percussion
to the NCBA Scholastic Division Championship in 2007 and in 2008 they finished 2nd at Championships just .5 behind first place.  The students Josh worked with trusted and believed in him  and Josh believed in them, and because of that they accomplished amazing things together.

In the summer of 2008 Josh finished college and was offered a "real" job as a TV News Reporter in the South East Washington area.   Josh is the type of instructor every director wish he had teaching his high school percussion students.  Josh thank you for everything you did for us here at Wilcox.  We will miss you and we wish you the best with your new career on TV!!  Don't forget us when you're world famous........................

With the overwhelming popularity Josh had here at Wilcox.  We thought it would be fun to keep track of Josh's news reports.  Knowing that we all can now look at the TV and say, "HEY! I know that guy!"

Check back often as we hope to keep this as up to date as possible as we follow Josh's success he will certainly have.
You can view some of Josh's reports right from his very own Blog site.  http://billybodo.blogspot.com/
