March 23rd - March 31st 2010

 

     Over two years ago now, The Wilcox High School Instrumental Music Program was invited to participate in the 2009 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Limerick, Ireland and to perform in and around the city of Limerick. We spent 10 amazing days in beautiful Limerick and were given a "Kings" welcome. 

 

               Now the Salesians students are coming here to visit us and our wonderful country.  29 students from the Salesians school in Limerick Ireland will be traveling here to meet with Wilcox students and experience "life as a Californian".  They will be visiting local attractions and spending two days visiting classes at Wilcox High School.  They will also be treated spending a few days with a "homestay" family. 

 

         If you would like to help the Salesian students by sponsoring one of their events or meals please contact Robert Nieves at wilcoxmarching@sbcglobal.net.   Robert would be happy to give you more details and answer any questions you may have.
