Rosie McCann’s Product Quality Pledge

We at Rosie McCann’s have worked diligently since 1996 to provide our guests, friends and family with food which follows the principles of the Slow Food movement.  In the words of Slow Food USA (slowfoodusa.org) the Slow Food system “is based on the principles of high quality and taste, environmental sustainability, and social justice – in essence, a food system that is good, clean and fair.

Good:
Naturally delicious food created with care from healthy plants and animals.

Clean:
Grown and harvested with methods that have a positive impact on ecosystems and biodiversity.

Fair:
Produced by people who are treated with dignity and justly compensated for their labor.”

Our Executive Chef Cervando Maya personally purchases the majority of our produce at the Santa Cruz Farmer’s Market weekly.  Our teas and coffee are Fair Trade Certified.  Our burgers are fresh ground organic beef from Nieman Ranch and our seafood is wild and line-caught whenever possible.  In essence, we won’t serve a product that we aren’t proud to.

When coming to dine with us whether for breakfast Saturday or our Sunday brunch buffet or for lunch or dinner, feel free to ask our knowledgeable staff any questions you may have about the quality of the products we are proud to serve you at Rosie McCann’s Irish Pub & Restaurant.

 Sincerely,

 The management
